BGCGSD Receives National Honor

SAN DIEGO (Wednesday, May 16, 2012) – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego and Mission Middle School received an Honor Award for Sports, Fitness and Recreation at the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s (BGCA) 106th National Conference held recently in San Diego, Calif., for their Escondido Impact. The organization received a $5,000 award from MetLife Foundation, sponsor of the awards program, which honors local Clubs for innovative, effective programming leading youth to a great future.
