GREATER SAN DIEGO BOYS & GIRLS CLUB FOUNDATION
The Foundation was created in 1984 for the purpose of seeking gifts of substantial cash, securities and property to be utilized for the support of the Boys & Girls Clubs.
The Foundation’s goal is to provide financial support that will ensure continuation of the Club’s programs and services for youth. The achievement of this goal requires an endowment of $20 million. Currently, the Foundation has $15 million in assets and expectancies.
The Boys & Girls Club Foundation is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors consisting of leading citizens committed to enhancing the quality of life for the youth of our communities. The Foundation protects its endowment from erratic spending, ensuring the long-term growth of its fund. This aspect of permanence is appealing to donors who want to feel that their gift will be lasting. The Foundation maximizes its earnings through sound financial management. Earnings from the Foundation are made available to support services for our most needy boys and girls.
The Foundation offers, at no cost or obligation and in complete confidence, a consultation concerning the benefits and implications of estate planning.
