About BGCGSD

GREAT FUTURES START HERE  
Great futures have been starting here for nearly 75 years. The BGCGSD serves over 25,000 kids annually ages 5- to 18-years old with ACADEMIC SUCCESS, CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT and HEALTHY LIFESTYLE programs at 19 community-based sites county-wide.

We will create a future of hope and opportunity for the young people in our community by providing them with ongoing relationships with positive adult role models, and by instilling the knowledge, skills, strategies and attitudes to be successful.

To inspire and enable youth to achieve academic success, build good character and responsible citizenship and make healthy lifestyle choices.

Since 1941, we have had a long and distinguished history as a premier youth 
non-profit organization in San Diego County.

GSDBGC FOUNDATION


The Foundation was created in 1984 for the purpose of seeking gifts of substantial cash, securities and property to be utilized for the support of the Boys & Girls Clubs.
