Leadership In Training Program Makes A Difference

My name is Margaret and I wanted to thank you so much for the Leadership in Training Program that is in place at the Linda Vista Boys and Girls Club. My daughter Sabrina is enrolled as well as her best friend and they don’t miss a day. I feel it is a resource that is a hidden gem amongst our community.
Many teens are out finding things to get into during summer break and they are not always aware of what the Boys and Girls Club has to offer. I feel that the site coordinator, Joe has really been trying to let people know about the programs our Linda Vista site offers.
I am impressed how many guest speakers come visit the teens and more importantly, my daughter and her friends really enjoy the field trips. I feel as if my daughter is really doing something worthwhile with her summer and I felt it important to let you know what a wonderful program it is.
By the way, my other daughter Catherine is already a member and she has enrolled in the SMART MOVES and RAD program. My grandson Danny also goes to the Club during the week.
Thank you for making summertime so exciting and fun for our kids!

With L.I.T., young people prepare for future roles as human services professionals by participating in career development activities, discovering the importance of community service, building customer service skills. This program provides great volunteers opportunities and preparation for leadership roles in the professional world today
